The universe may be made of matter (and anti-matter) but we humans live in a world of significance, of "what matters". Science takes things apart to explain, the arts put things together to make meaning. We need analytical thinking (good answers) but also analogical inquiry (worthwhile questions). It's both...and, not either/or and the nature of the dynamic balance between the two is an ongoing puzzle.
